Parker’s Heritage 15th Edition 122 Proof (61% ABV) is a highly allocated, Kentucky straight wheat whiskey produced as a limited release by the Heaven Hill Distillery. This 2021 expression utilizes the distillery’s specialty wheat mash bill of 51% soft red winter wheat, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley, distinguished by its maturation in Level 5 heavy char barrels.
Originally barreled in 2010, the liquid matured for 11 years on the sixth floor of Rickhouse Y, where the intense charring process facilitated a deeper extraction of wood sugars and tannins. This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of honey, toasted cinnamon, and graham cracker, balanced by a deep undercurrent of dark chocolate and heavy oak with a long, spicy finish.
