Description
Mendoza is a high-altitude growing location in Argentina famously known for the fan-favorite Malbec. With vineyard sites ranging from 2,600 to 3,900 feet above sea level, fruit sees a hot, dry climate during the growing season. Sunny days are cooled off by winds coming from the Andes mountains. The cooler temperatures allow grapes to develop rich and concentrated flavors as well as the signature Malbec acidity. Our last vintage of this wine was awarded “Best Malbec” in the 2019 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge, and this year is no different. Deep in color and bold in taste, this savory wine lingers with every sip. With plush and lively fruit flavors, firm tannins that grip the palate, and a balanced acidity, this wine was created to pair perfectly with rustic and complexly flavored dishes. Enjoy on a cool fall evening alongside grilled meats and salty cheeses. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
