This red wine is crafted from Pineau d’Aunis grapes grown by organic producer Philippe Tessier in the Touraine. Jean-Pierre Robinot L’Opéra des Vins ferments the grapes as whole bunches using indigenous yeasts, then transfers the wine to old French oak barrels where it ages on lees for approximately fifteen months. The wine completes its journey bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfites—characteristic of Robinot’s uncompromising natural winemaking approach.
