Description
Sirenia is here to dazzle our senses once again. The new vintage of our 91 point Tempranillo displays captivating red and dark fruit flavors with soft textures and charming sweetness. This plump black grape is native to Spain, but flourishes in wine regions around the world. Its name comes from the Spanish word “temprano”—meaning “early”—because it tends to ripen ahead of its neighboring varietals. This characteristic is well suited to the continental climate where these grapes grow, which feature short summers with drastic temperature drops during harvest season. This cooler weather gradually brings ripening to a stop as vineyard crews begin to pick the summer’s delicious bounty. Many Tempranillos lean savory and brooding; however, our Sirenia embodies the fruit-forward side of this enchanting Spanish grape. Enjoy it at room temperature as you unwind after a long day!
