Description
AFS Aging a Wildflower on the Last Page of My Favorite Book 2013 is a dry oxidative white wine made from 100% Pinot Gris sourced from the organically farmed vineyards of the Bannwarth family in Obermorschwihr, Alsace. Produced by Anders Frederik Steen and Anne Bruun Blauert from their first vintage, the grapes were slowly pressed and fermented outdoors over the winter of 2013 before being transferred to 228-litre barrels in spring 2014. AFS Aging a Wildflower on the Last Page of My Favorite Book 2013 aged in barrel without topping up for over a decade, developing complexity through extended oxidative contact. Bottled in 500ml, unfined, unfiltered, and with no sulfur added. 14.75% ABV. Vin de France.
