Description
Booker’s Barry’s Batch 7 Year is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Released as Batch 2025-01 and bottled at 125.7 proof, this uncut, unfiltered Booker’s release is part of the named-batch series Master Distiller Fred Noe oversees.
Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from 4 production dates aged in 5 different warehouses, aged 7 years, 2 months and 4 days. Marking the first release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2025 Collection, this name batch honors Barry Berish, the former Beam Chairman and CEO, and a dear friend to Fred Noe and his father.
Per Fred Noe’s notes, on the nose, it shows warm and welcoming, hints of vanilla and a touch of sweetness. The palate brings cozy, and the finish carries balanced, smooth. The pour shows Booker’s darkest, deepest amber and henna color.
A 2025 Booker’s release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker’s run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
