Alanna Lagamba’s Frauen Power is crafted from a blend of Dornfelder and Sylvaner grapes grown in the Rheinhessen region of Germany. Inspired by the Italian Lambrusco style, Alanna macerates part of the Dornfelder in whole bunches for a week, pressing the rest directly before blending with Sylvaner. The result is a low-alcohol (9.5%), sparkling red wine made without added sulfites, showcasing Alanna’s minimalist winemaking approach.
Frauen Power 2023 bursts with flavors of cherry cola, lime, and herbal freshness. It’s lively, with a slightly fizzy, refreshing mouthfeel, perfect for casual sipping. This vibrant sparkling red pairs beautifully with pizza, especially topped with bold flavors like Hawaiian or pepperoni. It also complements casual gatherings and outdoor picnics.
