Pierre Frick Pinot Gris Vorbourg Alsace Grand Cru 2022 showcases one of Alsace’s most prestigious vineyard sites through the lens of biodynamic farming. Domaine Pierre Frick cultivates 100% Pinot Gris on the south-southeast-facing slopes of the Vorbourg Grand Cru near Rouffach, where marl-limestone soils rest on Oligocene-epoch conglomerates with sandstone and oolithic limestone pebbles. Hand-harvested following lunar cycles, the grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and age on fine lees in century-old oak foudres. Pierre Frick Pinot Gris Vorbourg Alsace Grand Cru 2022 is bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfites.
