1792 Extended Rum Cask Finish Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited-release expression produced at the Barton 1792 Distillery. This high-rye bourbon underwent a secondary maturation process in ex-rum casks for an “extended” period to incorporate tropical wood influences.
Bottled at 103.5 proof (51.75% ABV), the profile balances the traditional bourbon notes of toasted oak and caramel with unique layers of toasted coconut, dark sugar, and spice from the rum barrels. This 750ml allocated bottling is part of the 1792 Wood Finishing series and is a technical showcase of innovative cask-matured Kentucky straight bourbon.
