A bright, coppery-pink rosé that sparkles in the light, Immaginare is made from Sangiovese grapes grown along Italy’s Arno River. The vineyards’ sandy soils are rich with marine fossils,adding a hint of minerality to notes of fresh strawberries, rose and sweet by one of Italy’s young winemaking superstars, Sabino Russo, whose wines have been written favorably of in Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast, this captivating rosé is the perfect refreshment for a warm afternoon.
Winemaker:One of Italy’s most talented young winemakers, Sabino Russo has produced an impressive portfolio of wines both on his own as well as at Tuscany’s celebrated Castellani winery. His wines have won a number of honors and have been favorably reviewed in publications such as Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator.
Region:
The Arno flows through the hills of Tuscany on its way to the Mediterranean Sea leaving behind mineral rich, sandy soil. Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano are just a few of the more well-known wines that are produced in the region and harness the minerality from the leftover marine fossils.
