Jean-François Ganevat La Colline des Dames is a natural Vin de France rouge crafted entirely from Pinot Noir sourced from the Frauenberg terroir in Alsace. This négociant cuvée from Anne and Jean-François Ganevat utilizes organically grown grapes harvested by hand and vinified naturally through semi-carbonic maceration at cool temperatures (12-14°C). Jean-François Ganevat La Colline des Dames undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts and ages in large foudres previously used for other wines. Bottled without fining, filtration, or sulfur additions, following the estate’s biodynamic philosophy established in 2006. The Frauenberg vineyard’s specific soils contribute to the wine’s distinctive character.
