Wonderwerk Lite Pink Lemonade is a low-alcohol piquette made from re-fermented grape pomace from direct-pressed rosé and carbonic red wines for 3-7 days, then blended with 30% finished wine including Syrah and Mourvèdre rosé. Produced in Gilroy, California by winemakers Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy, this innovative beverage infuses organic California-grown Eureka lemon zest and natural lemon extract. The base wine undergoes native yeast fermentation followed by light bottle re-fermentation with Champagne yeast starter. At 7% ABV, this sustainable, vegan wine represents California’s innovative natural winemaking movement.
