The Domaine Abeille 2014 combines Merlot with small amounts of Tempranillo and Grenache to produce a truly distinctive wine. On the nose, the Merlot expresses aromas of deep red fruits and black cherry. The Grenache builds on this profile with delicate hints of licorice and black pepper. In the mouth, the Merlot leads with the same fruit flavors, which are softened by the Tempranillo’s accents of plum and deepened by the bold raisin flavoring of the Grenache.
