Description
The Marigny Drink This Wine Skin Contact is a skin-contact white blend crafted by winemaker Andy Young in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, developed in collaboration with chef Molly Baz. The wine features 75% Riesling, 15% Pinot Gris, and 10% Sauvignon Blanc from organically farmed vineyards on volcanic and loess soils. Riesling undergoes destemming and traditional maceration with daily pump-overs for one week, while Pinot Gris receives semi-carbonic fermentation. The Marigny Drink This Wine Skin Contact ferments 9-21 days on skins with native yeasts, then ages primarily in stainless steel with 10% in neutral French oak before bottling unfined and unfiltered.
