The Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged 2025 Release is a 112.9 Proof (56.45% ABV) limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon representing the third annual installment of the distillery’s oldest official expression. This wheated bourbon is defined by a technical dual-maturation process: after 6 to 8 years in traditional rickhouses, barrels are moved to a LEED-certified, temperature-controlled limestone cellar carved into the Kentucky hillside.

This cooler environment is engineered to slow wood extraction and promote oxidative development, emphasizing deep notes of dark brown sugar, creamy fudge, and ripe dark cherry without the excessive bitterness often found in hyper-aged spirits. The 2025 edition features a meticulous blend of 11-year (74%), 13-year (10%), and 14-year-old (16%) barrels, achieving a harmonious equilibrium between the distillery’s signature soft red winter wheat profile and a more profound, concentrated complexity.
