The 2024 Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch is a 108.2 proof (54.1% ABV) barrel-strength, non-chill-filtered Kentucky Straight Bourbon representing the 17th annual installment of the distillery’s premier series. Master Distiller Brent Elliott crafted this release by blending four distinct bourbon components from three unique recipes: 12-year-old OBSV (31%), 15-year-old OESK (23%), 16-year-old OESF (39%), and a rare 20-year-old OBSV (7%).
The resulting profile is exceptionally balanced and complex, featuring an aroma of dark plum, apricot, and deep tobacco leaf. The palate delivers layers of ripe red berries (raspberry, red currant) and vanilla crème, which transition into a long finish of seasoned oak, leather, and semi-sweet baking spices. With an outturn of approximately 16,680 bottles (750ml), this expression remains a top acquisition for collectors seeking the pinnacle of Four Roses’ blending artistry.
