Description
Frank Cornelissen MunJebel Rosso VA is a red wine crafted exclusively from Nerello Mascalese grapes. These grapes are sourced from high-altitude vineyards on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, Sicily, with vines averaging 90 years in age, rooted in volcanic soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and undergo a gentle press. Fermentation is spontaneous, lasting approximately 60 days in neutral epoxy tanks using indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged in these tanks, bottled without fining, and undergoes minimal filtration with 5-micron cartridges.
