William Heavenhill Barrel Proof 12 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml is bottled at an uncut 134.4 Proof by Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. This seventh edition small-batch release is compiled from a selective pool of only 35 barrels. The production utilizes the distillery’s core bourbon mash bill composed of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. The spirit underwent its entire 12-year maturation cycle inside fire-charred new American white oak barrels resting on the 10th floor of Rickhouse 1K.
The natural climate swings across the seasons drive intense fluid migration into and out of the barrel staves over more than a decade. Bottled completely uncut and non-chill filtered straight from the wood, this highly concentrated allocation isolates an oily, robust texture packed with burnt marshmallow, dark cacao nibs, toasted pecans, and a lengthy, dry baking spice finish.
