Description
Domaine Tessier Charbonnerie is the top Cheverny Blanc from the estate, produced from 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Chardonnay from 40-year-old vines planted in the 1960s on silica-clay soils over limestone bedrock. Located near the Loire châteaux, the certified organic vineyards benefit from a microclimate influenced by surrounding forests. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, and the wine ages in stainless steel tanks and concrete. Unfined, unfiltered, with minimal sulfites at 12% alcohol.
