Description
Il Farneto Giandon Red Blend NV is a dry still red wine made from Marzemino, Malbo Gentile, and Lambrusco Grasparossa grown biodynamically on clay and chalk soils at around 300 metres elevation in Castellarano, between the hills of Scandiano and Canossa in western Emilia-Romagna. Produced by Marco Bertoni and winemaker Flavio Restani at Azienda Agricola Il Farneto, each variety is harvested by hand and vinified separately with indigenous yeasts, macerating on the skins for four to five days in concrete and stainless steel tanks, then blended in spring. Il Farneto Giandon Red Blend NV is bottled unfined, unfiltered, with minimal sulfites. 13% ABV. Emilia IGT.
