Description
Clase Azul Añejo Dia de los Muertos Colores 2022 is an 80 proof (40% ABV) limited-release produced at NOM 1595 in Jesus Maria, Jalisco. This 100% Blue Weber agave spirit is the second installment in the “Nuestros Recuerdos” series and features a technical maturation profile of 28 total months. The tequila was initially aged for 22 months in used American whiskey casks before a secondary six-month finish in Rhum Agricole casks from Martinique.
This dual-cask process results in a profile of cooked agave, candied orange peel, and clove, balanced by sugarcane and toasted oak notes. The 1-liter hand-painted ceramic decanter features a white glaze inspired by alfeñique sugar confections and is limited to a global production of 6,500 units.
