Meinklang Epic is a biodynamic frizzante crafted from 50% Grüner Veltliner, 40% Welschriesling, and 10% Muskat grapes grown in Austria’s Burgenland region near Lake Neusiedl. The Michlits family farm operates within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of National Park Neusiedlersee, utilizing mineral-rich volcanic soils and Pannonian climate influences. Meinklang Epic is a lightly sparkling wine that undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, is bottled unfiltered at 10.5% alcohol, and is carbonated before bottling rather than using the pet-nat method, resulting in an uncomplicated, natural sparkling wine.
