We can’t think of a better introduction to Pinotage than our fruit-forward and rustic Open Secret. Pinotage is a crossing of grape varieties Pinot Noir and Cinsault. A crossing is created when two grape varieties of the same vine species produce offspring of a new type, which expresses characteristics from each of its parent grapes. Our Pinotage from the breezy shores of the Western Cape is a beautiful example of this unique South African grape.
