Booker’s Pinkie’s Batch 6 Year is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Released as Batch 2022-04 and bottled at 122.4 proof, this uncut, unfiltered Booker’s release is part of the named-batch series Master Distiller Fred Noe oversees.

Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from across four different rack-houses, aged 6 years, 10 months and 10 days. Marking the fourth and final release of the Booker’s Bourbon 2022 Collection, this batch is a tribute to Pinkie, a nickname for Frederick Booker Noe, the Grandad of Fred Noe.

Per Fred Noe’s notes, on the nose, it shows balanced, brown spice and vanilla. The palate brings Booker’s signature vanilla, and the finish carries lingering, well-rounded. The pour shows Booker’s darkest, deepest amber and henna color.

A 2022 Booker’s release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker’s run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
