Description
Gut Oggau Theodora Weiss 2024 is a biodynamic white wine from Austria’s Burgenland region, crafted by Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe at their restored 17th-century estate overlooking Lake Neusiedl. This field blend combines Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling from 35-year-old vines rooted in gravel and limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and given a few hours of skin contact before pressing. Gut Oggau Theodora Weiss 2024 ferments spontaneously with native yeasts in used 500, 1000, and 1500-liter barrels, then ages for approximately 9 months without bâtonnage. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfur.
