Description
Hardin’s Creek Clermont is a highly allocated, 110 Proof (55% ABV) ultra-rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey released in June 2023. As the inaugural expression of the “Kentucky Series,” this technical release was distilled and aged for 17 years at the James B. Beam flagship campus in Clermont. The project was engineered as a “terroir” study, using a single distillation run of the 77% corn mash bill to observe how the specific microclimate of the Clermont hills, characterized by dense woodlands and rolling topography, shapes the spirit’s chemical evolution.
Produced by the James B. Beam Distilling Co., this 204-month-old bourbon matured in Warehouse E, situated at the heart of the Clermont site. The valley-sheltered rackhouses provided a moderate, consistent climate that fostered a balanced maturation between the high-rye spice and oak-derived sugars. The resulting chemical profile is defined by toasted marshmallow, burnt sugar, and seasoned leather esters, offering a harmonious and classic Beam structure that serves as the control point for the entire series.
