Château Falfas Les Demoiselles de Falfas hails from the Côtes de Bourg appellation in Bordeaux, France. The estate’s 20 hectares of vineyards are on clay-limestone soils, ideal for cultivating Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This cuvée is predominantly Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from younger vines. Vineyard practices adhere to biodynamic principles, including manual harvesting and using draught horses. In the cellar, fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is aged in tanks to preserve its fresh, fruit-forward character. Bottling is done without fining or filtration, and no sulfites are added, aligning with natural winemaking philosophies.
