Description
The California Sonoma Coast appellation is rugged and romantic. The coastal influence of the Pacific Ocean makes days during the growing season foggy in the morning, dry and hot in the afternoon, and chilly at night. The vineyard sites for this wine in particular sit incredibly close to the ocean which causes grapes to work harder for nutrients. This coastal influence develops into highly concentrated flavors that give the wines from this region their distinctive style. This Pinot Noir has a refined plushness and features a texturally opulent palate. Aged for 10 months in new French oak, it is a beautiful deep garnet color and has expressive deep fruit flavors and earthy aromas. Perfect for sipping when gathered by a fire with friends on a cool fall evening.
