Description
Les Frères Soulier Blanc Noir is an innovative orange wine from Saint Hilaire d’Ozilhan in the Gard, southern Rhône Valley. Brothers Guillaume and Charles Soulier employ an unconventional winemaking approach: Grenache Blanc undergoes long maceration like a red wine, while Grenache Noir receives direct pressing like a white wine. The estate’s 8 hectares sit on limestone scree slopes and siliceous rolled pebbles between Avignon and Nîmes. The wine ages 6 months in demi-muids without topping up, with no filtration, fining, or added sulfites throughout the natural winemaking process.
