Description
The 2019 King of Kentucky 15 Year Old is a Barrel Strength (typically 125–135+ proof) ultra-aged limited allocation representing a “honey-barrel” chapter in the Brown-Forman heritage portfolio. Released in 2019, this 15-year age-stated bourbon was distilled in 2004 and matured in the distillery’s iconic heat-cycled warehouses.
Hand-selected by Master Distiller Chris Morris from a very limited lot of 27 barrels, the spirit has developed a sophisticated structural integrity characterized by deep molasses, dark chocolate, and seasoned leather. The 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley mash bill provides a vibrant framework of cinnamon and black pepper, balanced by a thick, oily core of toffee and vanilla bean. With a tiny total outturn of only ~2,100 bottles, this 750ml single-barrel release is a primary acquisition for elite collectors tracking the brand’s rarest early-revival maturation standards.
