The Sommeliers at the Sommelier’s Challenge wine competition lauded the first release from Whipstitch last year, and the 2014 Merlot follows in that luxurious tradition. This year they awarded the newest wine from Whipstitch a Silver! It’s a classic California wine, with full-bodied fruit and hints of clove and nutmeg that come from the new oak. Our experts call it a powerful combination for powerful palates. This wine will pair beautifully with red meats, barbecued or grilled. It also took home Silver at the 2018 Harvest Challenge!
