Cristiano Guttarolo Amphora Vino Bianco is a natural white wine from the Gioia del Colle region in Puglia, Italy. This wine is primarily crafted from Verdeca grapes, with occasional additions of Chardonnay or Fiano, depending on the vintage. The grapes are sourced from organically farmed vineyards situated on a limestone plateau approximately 400 meters above sea level. The Verdeca grapes are typically pressed directly, while the Chardonnay or Fiano may undergo a short period of skin contact. The must is then fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in porcelain amphorae, which allows for micro-oxygenation without imparting additional flavors.
