Description
Domaine Georges Roy & Fils Chorey-lès-Beaune 2023 is a red Burgundy from the Côte de Beaune, made from Pinot Noir by Domaine Georges Roy & Fils in the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune. Fruit is sourced as a blend of four parcels across the appellation, where soils are commonly marl-limestone alluvium over stony, sometimes gravelly subsoils. For Domaine Georges Roy & Fils Chorey-lès-Beaune 2023, grapes are about 90% destemmed, fermented in concrete with around 12 days of maceration, then aged about 14 months in 228 L barrels with roughly 5% new oak, bottled without fining or filtration and with minimal sulfur.
