Description

Domaine des Trouillères Montagne de Strass 2022 is a red blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir from Domaine des Trouillères in Auvergne (Côtes d’Auvergne). The cuvée comes from the parcels Chemin des Martres and La Reina, on the slopes of Puy de Marmant and Puy de Corent at roughly 400–500 m altitude. Soils are basaltic colluvium with clay-limestone. Domaine des Trouillères Montagne de Strass 2022 ferments in concrete, then ages about 12 months in 225 L and 500 L barrels plus a 1,000 L sandstone jar, made without added sulfites.
