About This Wine
Biserno is the flagship wine, namesake, and symbol of the estate, Tenuta di Biserno. A classic Bordeaux blend, the grapes come from the very best vineyards and are perfectly suited to creating the Biserno’s distinctive style. Produced in equal parts from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, with a small amount of Petit Verdot. The resulting wine is remarkable, with a combination of qualities rarely found in a wine: finesse, elegance, complexity, voluptuousness, intensity, length and freshness.

“The fresh herbs such as basil and thyme are attractive coupled with currants and blackberries on the nose. Full-bodied with lots of fruit and velvety tannins showing an opulence and Super Tuscan intensity. It needs three years to come together.”
