This Highland Single Malt is defined by a technical maturation process involving a complex marriage of eight different European and American oak cask styles, including butts, puncheons, and hogsheads.
This multi-wood approach is engineered to showcase the depth of the distillery’s wood management program, emphasizing a profile of rich vanilla, dried ginger, and heavy oak spices. After maturation in Speyside’s temperate climate, the spirit achieves a harmonious equilibrium between the spicy structural depth of the first-fill European oak and the creamy, balanced sweetness of the American oak casks, resulting in a complex and layered finish.
