Le Coste Rosso Sangiovese 2022 is a dry red wine made from 100% Sangiovese grown organically and biodynamically on volcanic iron-rich soils near Lake Bolsena in Gradoli, northern Lazio. Known locally as Greghetto in the Gradoli area, the Sangiovese here grows at approximately 1,475 feet elevation on the Etruscan volcanic plateau. Le Coste, run by Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron, ferments the wine spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and ages it in neutral oak barrels. Le Coste Rosso Sangiovese 2022 is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without any added sulfites. 14% ABV. Lazio, Italy.
