G.D. Vajra Barolo Albe DOCG 2021 is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from three high-elevation cru sites—Coste di Vergne, Fossati, and La Volta—situated between 380 and 480 meters above sea level in Piedmont, Italy. The Vajra family pioneered organic farming in the region, obtaining certification in 1971. Maceration lasts one to three months depending on the parcel, followed by aging for 26 months in large Slavonian oak casks ranging from 4,000 to 7,500 liters. G.D. Vajra Barolo Albe DOCG 2021 represents the estate’s tribute to traditional blended Barolo, prioritizing elegance over power.
