Writers Tears Copper Pot Tasting Notes
Nose: Flashes of apple with hints of vanilla and honey over a distinctively pot still base.
Palate: Gently spiced with a burst of ginger and butterscotch with background notes of toasted oak.
Finish: Long Elegant finish with subtle notes of milk chocolate and almonds.
Distillery Information
The Walsh Whiskey Distillery at Royal Oak in County Carlow is dedicated to the production of premium handcrafted Irish whiskeys. Located in Irelands Ancient East region, it is one of the largest independent whiskey distilleries in the country and the first to be developed in Carlow in over 200 years.
