Frank Cornelissen MunJebel Rosso is a red wine crafted exclusively from Nerello Mascalese grapes. These grapes are sourced from multiple vineyards on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, including esteemed parcels such as Zottorinoto-Chiusa Spagnolo, Feudo di Mezzo-sottana, Porcaria, Rampante sottana, Piano Daini, and Crasà. The volcanic soils and high-altitude vineyards contribute to the wine’s distinctive minerality and complexity. The 2022 vintage experienced a dry growing season starting in June, leading to average to low yields. Despite these challenges, the resulting wine exhibits texture and personality, reflecting the unique terroir of Mount Etna.
