Booker’s Kitchen Table 6 Year is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Released as Batch 2018-04 and bottled at 128 proof, this uncut, unfiltered Booker’s release is part of the named-batch series Master Distiller Fred Noe oversees.

Master Distiller Fred Noe selected the batch from three different production dates stored in six different locations, aged 6 years, 8 months and 7 days. Named after one of Booker Noe’s favorite places, where he liked to read the newspaper, tinker with projects, and famously gathered family and friends to help select batches of his namesake whiskey.

Per Fred Noe’s notes, on the nose, it shows rich balance of vanilla and oak from aging in white oak barrels for over six years. The palate brings robust and flavor rich, and the finish carries balanced and pleasant, does not overpower. The pour shows Booker’s darkest, deepest amber and henna color.

A 2018 Booker’s release, this named batch is closely tracked by collectors building a complete Booker’s run. Bottled at full barrel strength with no chill filtration, it rewards a few drops of water and drinks well neat or over a single large cube.
