Description
Cantina Marilina Sikelé Nero d’Avola 2020 is a dry red wine made from 100% hand-harvested Nero d’Avola grown organically on limestone and clay soils in the Val di Noto, southeastern Sicily, near the town of Pachino in the province of Siracusa. Sisters Marilina and Federica Paternò ferment the grapes spontaneously with indigenous yeasts following a 20-day maceration in concrete tanks. Cantina Marilina Sikelé Nero d’Avola 2020 then ages eight months in concrete and three months in bottle, bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal sulfur. 14% ABV. Sicilia IGP.
