Description
Matassa Blanc is a natural white wine from the Roussillon region of France, crafted by winemaker Tom Lubbe at Domaine Matassa. This cuvée is a blend of 70% Grenache Gris and 30% Macabeu grapes, sourced from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards planted on schist soils. Grapes are hand-harvested. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in large tuns and 500-liter barrels. Aged on its lees, bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur.
