Description
Oddero Barolo is crafted from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from multiple vineyards across the Barolo region in Piedmont, Italy. These vineyards in communes, such as La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, and Serralunga d’Alba, feature diverse soils ranging from calcareous clay to sandy loam, contributing to the wine’s complexity. This vintage experienced favorable weather conditions, leading to optimal ripening. Grapes are hand-harvested to ensure quality. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by a maceration period of approximately 25 days. The wine is then aged for 30 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, allowing it to develop structure and integrate flavors harmoniously.
