This 114.2-proof expression represents the highest bottling strength in the series’ history since its inception in 2008. The technical assembly consists of four distinct recipes: 58% 16-year-old OESV (20% rye, delicate fruit yeast), 23% 12-year-old OESK (20% rye, baking spice yeast), 13% 16-year-old OBSV (35% rye, delicate fruit yeast), and 6% 14-year-old OBSQ (35% rye, floral essence yeast).
Matured in specialized single-story rackhouses, the blend highlights the synergy between ultra-aged “V” strain barrels and the rare “Q” yeast, which provides a distinctive berry-like complexity at this level of maturity. The resulting chemical profile is defined by vibrant notes of plum, orange peel, and dark chocolate, balanced by a structural backbone of aged oak tannins and baking spices.
