The Michlits family cultivates these grapes on sandy loam and rocky topsoil using Demeter-certified biodynamic practices. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes 5-7 days of skin maceration before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Meinklang Mulatschak Orange 2024 ages four months sur lie and is bottled unfined, unfiltered, with minimal sulfites (25 mg/L). “Mulatschak” is Austrian slang for “party”—fitting for this lively, accessible orange wine. 11.5% ABV.
