Description
No Control’s Tournoël Riot 2022 is a red wine produced by Vincent Marie in the Auvergne region of France. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, the vines are planted on soils composed of granite sand and basaltic scoria at an elevation of 500 meters near Volvic. The vineyard is managed organically, with a goal of biodynamic certification. Vinification involves whole bunch fermentation in fiber vats, with manual grape trampling to initiate maceration, followed by pressing and blending of free-run and press juices. The wine is aged in Burgundy barrels and bottled without filtration or added sulfites, reflecting a natural winemaking philosophy.
