Unlike the standard annual vintage, this is a single pot still expression crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley. The technical maturation process utilizes primarily first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels, supplemented by a unique contribution from virgin (unseasoned) American oak.
This combination facilitates a complex chemical profile of lime zest, succulent green berries, and pears. The virgin oak imparts a structural wood spice and vanilla depth that balances the creamy, oily mouthfeel characteristic of triple-distilled pot still spirits. The finish is long and refined, transitioning from fresh citrus to a clean oak foundation with persistent notes of cinnamon and green sweet pepper.
