This natural wine blends Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Gamay from organically dry-farmed vineyards planted on volcanic soils with marine sediment. The Pinot Noir and Merlot undergo carbonic maceration while Gamay ferments whole cluster, creating maximum fruit expression. Fermented with native yeasts and bottled without sulfur or fining, this low-intervention approach produces just 150 cases annually. At 12.5% alcohol, the wine embodies Young’s philosophy of creating “imperfect wine for imperfect people with impeccable taste,” prioritizing drinkability over convention.
