Description
Mendocino is a rugged piece of coastline. Ocean fogs hang thick and low across the land, and vineyards are lightly scented with the resin from the surrounding redwoods. Many people were drawn to the hills for the promise of gold, but what they really found were vineyard sites above the fog-line. The wines made from these grapes are marked by complexity: fruit and spices dance across the palate, and the full body is offset by higher acidity. This elegant wine is a new favorite of our experts who keep claiming they’ve finally found gold. It took home a Bronze medal at the 2018 International Women’s Wine Competition.
